Unit 17 – Multi Media Products

 

Overview –

This unit includes 2 main tasks, the first main piece of work  needed to design a PowerPoint which was designed for KS4 Students. It included me to talk about Deforestation and how it is bad and how we need to stop it. also we need to develop and test a presentation  intended to work of a charity to stop deforestation. The presentation is needed to be presented in a classroom using a large screen projector.

Task 1

we have been asked to produce a presentation which describes the the uses and features pf at least one linear and one interactive products

This task included me doing a PowerPoint which i needed to talk about an interactive product and a multi media product.

Task 2 –

 

This task includes a document which i explain the maze game and the power point i had made. i had talked about the purpose of the PowerPoint and then i had included my prototype and spoke about this. On the maze game i also did the same for this, i spoke about this. At the end of the task i had evaluated both of these tasks.

 

 

Task 3 –

This task includes me to test both of my programs to see if they work the way i want them to. i had included tables on each piece of work to see if both my PowerPoint and game work the way i want them to work.

Task 4 –

In this task we had reviewed all our work for both the game and the PowerPoint. I had talked about what prototypes i had did to get to my final design and what assets i had used.

 

What i had learnt –

In this unit i had learnt how to design a a power point in which we included information on how deforestation is bad, i also learnt how to use animations properly. Also i had learned how to design a game in C~. This game inlucded you going from a start tile

Overall Grade – Pass

Reflection – In this unit, we needed to design a PowerPoint which spoke about deforestation, and how we can prevent deforestation. Secondally we designed a game which helped young students help with hand eye co ordination. This game was all about reaching to the end making it past obsticals.

What i struggled with – 

In this Unit i had struggled with the coding as i do not know too much on coding, and i got to confused at some points of making the game. On the PowerPoint i was fine as i had no problems.
